MAA Livestock & Property Pty Ltd was established in 1988 under the former name of Murray Arthur Agencies. In 2005, Duncan McLeod purchased the business from Murray and Helen Arthur, who wanted to pursue other business ventures. Duncan had been part of the business since 2000. Duncan brought a new approach to the business, while maintaining the original business values of professional and personal service to clients.
The office moved location in 2007, purchasing our own building and designing the office to best suit our needs. The move from the CBD had the potential to decrease exposure to the public, however with our strong reputation and relationships, this has not affected performance.
In 2004, Seamus Filan joined the MAA team to service the Mitchell area, Cameron Adcock from Charleville joined in 2007, both bringing with them many years experience within the sheep and cattle industry.
After over fifteen years with MAA, Lyle Cherry, who was well respected for his honesty amongst the Roma real estate agents, retired in 2013.
MAA has a strong administration team, who ensure that each and every transaction goes smoothly and clients needs are met and expectations exceeded.
